WIRED TO PROSPER(9) OPERATING UNDER OPEN HEAVEN

As part of God's agenda for divine prosperity for his children, he ensures that we, his children, operate under open heavens. In Mal 3:10, the bible talks about windows of heaven being opened. This is the experience that tithers experience. God himself assured us of this kind of prosperity on the condition that we are faithful in our tithing and giving. It is perhaps the only place in the Bible that God says to us to challenge him.

However, this is the first step of this kind of prosperity. There is a limit to which supply can come from windows. The next stage that God can take you to is what is called doors of Heavens. I believe what you experience in this regard is a bigger opening, and it is not limited to meeting your financial needs, and it extends to all others parts of your life. There is also open heavens. This is the peak of having the 3 John 1:2 blessings come. You are blessed in every area, favour, good health, helpers etc.

How to enjoy Open heaven:
1. Through prayers.
Even though we say divine prosperity yields only to covenant relationship, there are occasions that it takes prayers for your heavens to open. In Isaiah 64:1-2, the Prophet prayed that the heavens will be torn opened. And that God will come down and manifest Himself.

Oh, that You would rend the heavens!
That You would come down!

On such occasions, God does what no one can do, and we experience what no one can experience.

Peter experienced open heaven. Acts 10:9-16
The bible recalls that he went up to pray, and he became hungry, and the heavens were opened.
And in Luke 3:21, the heavens opened when Jesus was baptised. When Jesus was baptised, whilst he prayed...

2. Through Obedience
In previous articles I shared how Abraham obeyed God and God rewarded him with prosperity. Obedience is a sure way to walk under open heavens. See also Deuteronomy 28:1-13 If you diligently obey and ensure to do according to His word. In verse 12 of the same chapter, it says The Lord will open his treasures unto us.

3. Sacrificial Giving.
Abraham experienced a greater blessings when he offered to sacrifice his son Isaac Gen 22. Also the centurion giving was heard in heaven.(Act 10:1-6) In Mal 3:6-10, we saw how our tithes can open windows of heavens, by obedience.

4. Understand how God works.
Understand His heart beat. Hosea 11:1,4 -teach us to move from self belief to total dependency on God. See also Deuteronomy 11:10-11; 13-14. Even the Nile river, is limited compared to God unlimited rain that comes from heaven.

5. Service
Clearly Abraham served God. Job 36:11 and Exodus 23:25-27 contain precious blessings from an open heavens.

6. Always thank God and share testimony of what He has done. You will have more. Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

KORAN: IS THE PASTOR, SILLY

I find the art of burning symbols or even in the most diabolical circumstances, political burning of human beings ranked as one of the basest evil that man can do to man. However, I found it strange for an evangelical Pastor to plan, arrange and canvass for the burning of the Koran as most strange and uncalled for...it shows nothing but abject stupidity and unchristian! Could this be the beginning of Islam-phobic that may set a tinder box of inflammable consequences all over the world or its going to be seen as one of those attention seeking gesture of ignominy.
