FORMED-AN INTEGRAL PILLAR IN FULFILLING DESTINY. 4

So we continue from part 3.

In Part 3 we established the physical, though amazing birth we all had. We also saw how God protected us, in all His majesty. If we are left this way, we will live a frustrated life. We need to discover our destiny. We cannot however, be children of destiny until we achieved what I shared in part 2. Accept Jesus as our Lord and personal Saviour. The story of Nicodemus, and the rich young  ruler is apt in explaining this. John 3:1-21; Luke 18:18-23

We therefore must be born again. It is from this position that we venture out to know the plan and purpose of God in our life. Our search, at a time meets up with His plan for us. He never, walk without a plan for each and everyone that gives his life to Him. Ps 127:1-2. This plan cannot be fulfilled by anyone else apart from you. Is 46:9-10. At times we venture away from that plan, but His mercies bring us back. Pro 19:21. He equips us, and sanctify us. Romans 28-30. Example is Moses. Ex 2:1-10.

God can also use anybody for His own purpose and plan:
1. 1Kings 17:1 we saw how Elijah suddenly appeared in the affairs of Israel. No one knew his parents or his profession. This confirms God can use a nobody.
2. God can use a somebody. Typical example is Elisha. A wealthy man from a wealthy family. 1Kings 19:19
3. He can use a murderer or an ignorant person. Act 9 confirms that. Saul on the way to Damascus. Or even Peter. Luke 5:10-11
4. He has absolute discretion in calling anyone and using them for His purpose. However, no matter how you find Him, you must surrender before He can fully use you.
5. What is also certain is that your call could be from a profession(Like Peter), and then to a vocation(Saul). You might have been brought through a parental pupillage(Jesus and Elisha), professional training(Luke, was a doctor), in a palace(Moses and Joseph), publicly acknowledged(Jesus when baptised) or whatever, it seems a time comes when it becomes apparent that your destiny is being acknowledged. Abraham was 70 years when he was called; Jesus was 30 years old; Moses was 40 years old etc

All these period of 'baking' certainly are all part of 'formation' So not only were we formed in our mother's womb, we are also formed from infancy to maturity, by our parents, culture, experiences etc

Does it mean therefore that the Devil, who couldn't terminate our glorious destinies in our mothers' wombs, would leave us and allow us to achieve our ultimate destiny. No. He will not, and the way and manner he attempts to take us out of God's plan will be discussed in the next part.
