NOVEMBER: THE MONTH SIGNS AND WONDERS FOLLOW ME Mark 16: 17....And these signs will follow those who believe... It’s most amazing how much we Christian run after money and other material things. It is particularly surprising how we go all out to ensure that they do not leave our sight. We make great efforts to seek as many signs and wonder as possible. They become the parameters for our success and our Christian landmarks. see John 4:48. Whereas, we should not be seeking after signs and wonders, they should be running and following after us. The bible is clear who should be following whom: Take for example in Mark 16: 17, God promised us that signs will follow us. His statement of assurance is definite, not arbitrary. It is infinite and not finite. It is inspirational, encouraging and reassuring. It does not take rocket science to understand that God has favoured us immensely with this remark. For example, the children of Israel had the experience see Deuteronomy 6:22-24; Also Daniel 6

OCTOBER 10: SIGNIFICANCE IN NCC EDMONTON; SIGNIFICANT IN YOUR LIFE. The Lord gave us the power to purchase our own worship centre with offices and good facilities. On the 6th of February 2009 we bought the building known as Charles Lamb Institute, 65 Church Street, Edmonton N9. The legal title passed on to us on this day after many years of its occupation for purposes other than for Christian worship, and 100 years of it’s built. A Grade 2 listed building with all its fancy, the original builders had envisioned such a day, and had stated that any religious organisation who buys the building must only use it for Christian religious doctrines/worship. To God be the glory, we in the New Covenant Church Edmonton, both old and new are blessed for this cutting edge achievement, for God has located us in the UK to be part of this ground breaking event. We took the building back for Jesus. After a long tortuous planning process, and challenging times with the builders and the architects, I

I RETURN TO BETHEL Genesis 35:1 “Then God said to Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there; and make an alter there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from the face of Esau your brother.” And so Jacob returned to Bethel. In this God fulfilled a major part of Jacob’s prayer in Gen 28: 20-22. The significance of this return cannot be overstated. Jacob had fled from the wrath of his brother having cheated him, and lied to his father depriving Esau of his blessings. In the same breath he had been the one God had chosen to be His touch bearer and the line of promise. Jacob was continuing what his grandfather and father had embarked on before him. During the time of his sojourn, he had learnt many lessons by experience, acts and omissions. He had learnt the lessons of life and death(His fleeing from Esau and Laban…see Gen 27:41; and Gen 31:23) He had learnt the act of negotiation(Gen 30) the art of managing in lack, prospering in hope, hearing God, making a vow, courting a wife;

OCTOBER: THE MONTH I MAKE A NEW FRIEND. Ecclesiastes 4:9...two people are better than one... Some people are very good at making friends, they are extroverts. Some are not so good. They are introverts. However, as long as you are a Christian, you have the anointing with the commission to make friends...new friends every time. Making friends can be sensitive. The reasons varied, but top on the list is the fact that experience has taught some people that friends can mess you up big time. I say that may be true, but it is not enough to jettison making new friends. You cannot cut off your head because the cap does not fit you, neither can you cut off your nose because you’ve got cold! Instead of looking at friends who have betrayed you, why don’t you look at friends who have not let you down. Someone said friendship is like an elevator, it either takes you up or bring you down...I believe what is crucial is how you choose the friend, rather than who you choose as a friend. This month we ne
