STEP 6-THANK HIM BEFORE YOU RECEIVE FROM HIM

Philippians 4:6 says Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

I believe God knew that with prayer comes doubt, worry, anxiety etc. Especially when what you have prayed for, seems very impossible, urgent and important to your breakthrough. Like I wrote before, the devil stands ready to bring all sorts of worry to our mind when we have finished praying. The word of the Lord is saying instead of fear, doubt or worry, praise and offer thanks. For you to offer thanks for what you have not seen, I believe, is evidence that you already believe you have received it.

It's only a thankful heart that can receive a needful petition.

There was a lady who I was told, shared a testimony where she thanked the Lord more than 7,000 times for giving her a life partner. She barely left the place of thanksgiving when God answered her. I believe it is the height of faith, to thank God for what you have not received.

 In our church we have what we call last dance every first Sunday as part of our thanksgiving. This simple free for all dance, has brought to pass many prophesies and breakthroughs. Those who have waited have received, and those who were in bondage have been set free. They offered thanks, before receiving. This is founded on the belief that all things are possible to them that believe. Mark 9:23.

The devil himself is fearful of thanksgiving. He knows, thanksgiving was something he couldn't offer to God. Thanksgiving is what to do when you do not know what to do again.

Jesus offered thanks to God and Lazarus came back to life. John 11:41-42 Jesus offered thanks in John 6:11; and 5000 were fed. The leper in Luke 17:11-19 came back to offer thanks, and he was made whole. Solomon in 1 Kings 3:4-13 gave a thousand bulls in burnt offering, and he got wisdom and wealth. So, make thanksgiving an essential part of your prayer, and the limit shall be lifted.

    Lord , I am thankful and your thanksgiving will not seize in my mouth. I thank you today not because of what you have done for me but because of what you are yet to do that is coming (hope, because You never fail) and for this reason father , every seconds of my life , my breath , I give you thanks ,
